Im about to do a new exhaust set up in my car, the motor im putting in it is a RB26, what im lost about is how i should set up my exhaust. I like the deep tone, mean sounding system, but yet dont want it to be raspy or ricey sounding. I am going to keep the dual exhaust set up in the rear, and do a y pipe to attach the two mufflers, which i now have the HKS Hyper Mufflers, we are doing a 3" setup and am planning on doing a QTP Electronic cut out. I cant decide if i should use a resonator or not, considering i'll have the 2 HKS mufflers? But i cant also figure out which tone would be the best and also how much performance will be lost in which way i went. And if i do use a resonator which brand is best tuned to sound right....I basically want it to idle smoothly but also be able to hear it at idle and say "damn that sounds good." Any thoughts on this subject would be helpful. Thanks, Lebs
